The goal was to move away from the standard look of the Kimber 1911 Pistol, and create something that stood out while still maintaining a clean, functional design. We refinished the frame in a Elite Titanium and Elite Blackout Cerakote, giving it a durable, abrasion and corrosion-resistant base.
As with all of our work, every component was properly disassembled, cleaned, and prepped to ensure optimal adhesion and long-term durability. Special attention was given to maintaining tolerances and function throughout the process—because performance always comes first.
Cerakote Coating Description:
Cerakote Elite Titanium is a soft, pewter silver metallic. Cerakote Elite Blackout is a complete achromatic color with a black eggshell finish. Cerakote H Series coatings the next level in improved hardness, abrasion resistance and lubricity.
