We applied Cerakote C-128, a high-temperature ceramic coating designed specifically for components that live in extreme heat environments. This coating provides excellent thermal resistance while also helping reduce heat soak and surface oxidation over time.
This project is a perfect example of using Cerakote as a performance solution—extending the life of hard-working components while keeping everything looking dialed in under the hood.

This project came in from a Ford F-250 owner looking to address both heat management and long-term durability in a critical engine component. The turbo pedestal, constantly exposed to high exhaust temperatures and harsh operating conditions, needed more than just a cosmetic refresh—it needed protection that would perform.

Cerakote Hunter Orange is a rich medium orange. Cerakote C Series Ceramic Coatings will perform at temperatures up to 1700°F and set the industry standard in high temperature coatings.
